HAVE YOU BEEN THE VICTIM OF “ORGANISATIONAL ABUSE” ?

WHAT IS ORGANISATIONAL ABUSE ?

This is the mistreatment or neglect caused by the systems, policies, and practices of a organisation, rather than a single individual. This form of abuse if said to take place in places like Hospitals and Care Homes. However, Organisation Abuse can happen in various locations and industries. Not just Hospitals and Care Homes. You can be feel like your being targeted by a particular organisation and sometimes even an Institution like the Police. To give you an example here are a few examples where I feel I have experienced “Organisational Abuse”: (to avoid what may be misinterpreted as “Slander”, I will just reveal the industries and institutions rather than any specific organisation:

  • Community : This can sometimes come in the form of Racism, Hate Crimes and Anti-Social Behaviour. This is where individuals and communities pull together to target you. Often by spreading false and malicious rumours. To give you a clear example I left my house in Stoke-On-Trent to top up my Gas at a local shop, and was racially abused by three white teenagers who were drunk off their heads. One approached me as if he wanted to pull a knife out of his bag. All this because he felt he had the right to call me a “Nigger” because he calls all his friends Nigga’s. I advised the teenager that I am in my early 40’s and cannot understand his actions unless they were racist. After having a talk with the young lad who then quickly realised he has been manipulated then apologised, but the damage was already done. I had been experienced multiple issues in Stoke-On-Trent for some time but this incident helped me to generate a crime reference number and provide evidence of what I was experiencing was 100% real! I then left these young people and I swear to you, there were people in the homes laughing from their windows. So it means that whole incident was set up by a small community of people. This is an example of how a racist community can orchestrate organisational abuse and even more dangerous, lead to acts of violence to affect your physical safety. All the while you are wondering to yourself have we not learned anything from death of Stephen Lawrence… We are de-evolving rather than evolving.
  • The Police : This is the most common form of Organisational Abuse that is often experienced along with complaints and report of harassment. Let me give you an example. After winning a court case where Yorkshire Police did everything in their power to fabricate evidence and circumstances, after a while it became so obvious malicious prosecution was taking place. No crime reference number, no arrest, but somehow I found myself arrested by Leeds Police, charged and convicted in a space of 1.5 hours, 9 months later of the so-called incident. I later realised for the speed in which for this to happen means it was all orchestrated, right up to the Duty Solicitor. The craziest thing was that when I started reading up on the Law I realised my own Barrister was doing absolutely nothing for me! I then took it upon myself to study Law in my own time and quickly realised what was taking place here has been fabricated from the very beginning. They were trying to paint a false picture of me but my CV and creative ambitions can reveal all. I have worked, gone university, worked, worked and worked. Not sure where Yorkshire Police got the idea I was dangerous. I have made music to entertain and not promote violence, performed songs, done photography, supported charity events. Ever since this interaction with Yorkshire Police, I have got some strange attention from Leicester Police, Staffordshire Police, and then the Metropolitan Police. Not sure if all is linked but I kept being told it is because I am black! So, it is normal.

The are just a few examples of Organisational Abuse. Organisational abuse can have a serious impact on someone’s physical and mental health, as well as their quality of life. It can lead to physical injuries, emotional trauma, and even death.

After doing some research I noticed there are not any charities that focus on the impacts of this sort of abuse, but I would suggest approaching a charity that helps and supports with any sort of pathological abuse. It is when it becomes physical that things can be easier to prove. Where this sort of abuse is more psychological, evidence will need to be gathered over a period of time to prove it is not a false reality you are perceiving. Always have someone of sound mind to confide in to make sure they are concerned and take note. It is always nice to have someone in your corner who can be empathetic and confirm your experience is real. 100% real.
